What does the free RN OSCE check include?

1 min readSources checked 27 October 2026

6 practice scenarios, one per skill area, with a checklist of 47 points that explains why each matters. You answer your way, tick what you covered, and get a report of your gaps with missed safety points first.

What is inside?

  • 15 of the checklist points are flagged as safety-critical.
  • A dose calculation, checked for you, with the working shown.
  • An optional station timer: 2 minutes to read, then 8 to perform, like a real station1.
  • A report by area with a practice plan, which you can save as a PDF.

How long does it take?

About half an hour by our estimate, or up to an hour with the timer on for every scenario.

What does it not do?

It does not predict your result or give a pass mark, and it is not the exam's own marking scheme. It shows you what to practise next, which is the point.

Who is it for?

Internationally qualified nurses preparing for the Australian RN OSCE, including those who have passed the NCLEX-RN and are waiting for a date2. Start the free check.
