The short version: we keep very little. An email only if you join a waitlist, and, if you buy, only what your purchase needs.

Last updated 31 October 2026

No cookies. No trackers. No ads. We keep an email address only if you join a course waitlist. If you buy, Stripe takes the payment and keeps your card and email; we keep only what the certificate or course needs. We remove what we hold when you ask, unless the law makes us keep it.

Who holds your information

Opus Vault, trading as Aptia Skills (ABN 85 543 288 407), Australia. Contact: [email protected].

What we keep

Only when you join a waitlist: your email address, which course you joined, the choices you made on that form (such as your stage or language), a note that you agreed and when, and where you came from if the link you used carried a campaign tag. If you join from your results page, we also keep your scores by area for that course.

Practice questions, lessons and skills checks run in your browser. Today, nothing you type into them is sent to us. If a course ever sends answers to an AI service for marking, that course will say so before you use it, and ask first.

Some courses can save your progress on your own device (in your browser's storage on that device only). It is never sent to us, and you can clear it on the course page.

If you buy a certificate: the name to print, the sector you chose, the test score our server re-checked, the study time your browser measured, the identity document type with only 4 characters visible if you chose to add one, the region (Italian certificate only), when you ticked the two boxes, the price, and Stripe's payment references. The certificate's public check page shows only the number, name, masked document, course, region, date and whether it is valid.

If you buy a course: a coded fingerprint of your private access link (never the link itself), the page language, the price, the dates, and Stripe's payment references. No name.

If a business pays for your certificate: the same as a certificate you buy, plus which business order paid for it. The business sees, in its private panel, your name, masked document, sector, certificate number and date, and whether it is valid, because you agree to that when you claim it. For the order itself we keep the team name the buyer typed, the number of certificates, the price and Stripe's references.

Unpaid orders are deleted after 48 hours. To stop people guessing team links, we count wrong team codes for the whole site in 10-minute windows; that count holds nothing about you.

Where it is kept

In Opus Vault's own Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare runs a worldwide network, so your data may be stored or processed outside Australia. No form company or mailing-list company holds it.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and loads no advertising or tracking scripts. Nothing is loaded from another website. If we later turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics (it counts visits without cookies), we will say so on this page first.

Language and your browser

When you open the home page, we read the language your browser asks for and send you to the English, Spanish or Portuguese version. We do not store it and we set no cookie.

What we do with your email

We use it to tell you when that course opens, nothing else. Every email will have an unsubscribe link. We do not sell it or share it.

How long we keep it

If a course does not open, we delete its waitlist emails after one year. If it opens, we keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Certificates and purchases are kept while the certificate or access can be used, and as long as tax law requires for the payment records.

Remove or check your information

Email [email protected] and ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold. We will do it and reply to confirm. If you are in Spain or elsewhere in the European Union, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number. Stripe keeps the email, card and billing details you give it (and a business's tax number), sends your receipt, and works out the tax, under its own privacy policy. Stripe may process this data outside your country.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes too.
