Who we are
Aptia Skills is a trading name of Opus Vault, ABN 85 543 288 407, Australia. Address: 22 Somersby Road, Welshpool WA 6106, Australia. Phone: +61 488 991 926. Email: [email protected]. By using this site you agree to these terms.
Practice and training only
Our courses are practice and training. They are not legal, medical, immigration or professional advice, and they do not replace the official information for your test. Always check the official source for your test.
No guarantee of a pass
We do not guarantee a pass, a score, a certificate from anyone else, a job or a visa. Results depend on you and on the test.
No affiliation
Aptia Skills is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by any exam body, regulator or government. Their names are used only to say which test a course is for.
Our material
The practice material is ours. Do not copy it to resell or republish it. You may use it to study, and you may link to us.
Using the site
Use it fairly. Do not try to break it, overload it or collect its content in bulk. We may change or remove a course at any time, and we try to keep information correct but cannot promise it has no mistakes. Tell us if you find one: [email protected].
Waitlists
Joining a waitlist is not a purchase and not a promise that a course will open. What we keep is explained on the privacy page.
Prices and payment
Every price is shown, with tax included where it applies, before you pay. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see your card number. Each course page, and its own terms page, says exactly what you buy.
Refunds: courses
A course you pay for once (for example the nursing courses or the French courses for Canada) opens straight away, because you ask for that when you pay. If you change your mind, write to [email protected] within 14 days of buying and we refund you in full, no questions asked. Your access stops when the refund is made.
Refunds: certificates
A certificate is made and delivered straight after payment. Before you pay, you tick two boxes: that you want it straight away, and that you understand you then lose the 14-day right to cancel that EU and UK law otherwise gives for buying online. If a certificate has a fault, for example it will not download or shows your details wrongly through our mistake, write to [email protected]: we fix it or refund you. A refunded certificate shows as not valid on its public check page.
Business orders
A business can buy several certificates of a course in one order (today the Spanish food-handler course). Certificates nobody has used are refunded if the business asks within 30 days of buying.
Your rights
These terms do not take away any right the law gives you as a consumer, including the Australian Consumer Law and the consumer law of the country where you live.
Law
Australian law applies to these terms. If you buy as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live.
